Carlota joined VELD in 2024. She focuses primarily on architecture, working from early design and concept phases through to permit applications. Her work centers on the architectural development of residential projects and the redevelopment of existing urban sites.

SELECTED PROJECTS
ILO 130
Architectural design for the transformation of an entire urban block in Brussels’ European Quarter into a mixed-use development combining housing, offices, amenities and retail.
Carlota contributed to the architectural design of four buildings, refurbished from offices to housing, from early design through to the permit application.
ACV Ruisbroek
Architectural design for the transformation of a former industrial site into a mixed-use residential neighborhood, including 4 residential buildings combining diverse housing typologies, community facilities and high-quality public spaces.
Carlota joined the project following the public-space permit and contributed to the architectural design through to the planning permit application.
